See what happens when we look through someone else’s eyes and
get a different perspective on mental health and diversity.
This documentary follows 16 artists of varied styles as they get
to know 4 families, all of whom have children touched by mental
health challenges. Mixing footage of the families’ and artists’
interactions with interviews and glimpses into the creative
process, the film shows the way people learn and change when asked to step outside their comfort zones. The
footage and the final artwork challenge viewers to rethink the
assumptions they make about children and families.
The project and film won two national ECCO Awards, including the
overall People's
Choice Award! Anne Ferrier,
creator/leader of the project, accepted the awards.
